About the team
At Gant Footwear, we're bringing together the strength of a global lifestyle brand with the speed and ambition of a start-up. As we develop our first in-house collections and prepare for upcoming seasonal launches, we're looking for a Sample Coordinator Intern eager to learn, contribute, and grow with us.
You will play an important role in supporting our Product & Operations team, ensuring that samples are received, organized, tracked, and available at the right time throughout the product development and Go-to-Market process. From coordinating shipments and preparing samples for fittings and reviews to supporting seasonal sell-in preparations, you'll gain hands-on experience in bringing a footwear collection to market.
Working closely with colleagues in Sourcing, Product, and Operations, you'll gain valuable insight into the product development journey within a global fashion brand while contributing to efficient ways of working in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
As a Sample Coordinator Intern, you will support the Product & Operations team in managing samples throughout the seasonal product development and Go-to-Market process. Working closely with our Sourcing and Operations Coordinators, you will help ensure samples are handled efficiently, accurately tracked and available when needed.

Key responsibilities:
* Receive, unpack, register, organize and distribute development, fitting, Green/Gold Seal, SMS and marketing samples.
* Coordinate sample shipments, track deliveries and follow up on outstanding samples.
* Prepare and organize samples for product reviews, fittings and quality assessments.
* Support sample documentation and reporting in our Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system, including photos and status updates.
* Maintain an organized sample inventory and archive, including packing, storage and returns.
* Support the team during seasonal peaks and contribute to improving sample handling routines and processes.

Profile

We are looking for a structured, proactive and hands-on student with a genuine interest in footwear, fashion and product development, who enjoys working in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Preferred profile:
* Currently studying Fashion, Textile Management, Product Development, Supply Chain or a related field.
* Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
* A hands-on, solution-oriented mindset and willingness to take responsibility for both practical and administrative tasks.
* Comfortable working with digital tools and systems; experience with Excel or PLM systems is an advantage.
* Good communication skills and ability to collaborate across different teams.
* Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
Previous experience is not required. We value curiosity, initiative and a willingness to learn.
