Descrizione del lavoro:
At Wireless Technologies \u0026 Ecosystems (WTE) team, we are looking for a motivated\\nand curious intern to join our team working at the intersection of cellular software test\\nengineering and applied AI/ML automation. The intern will work alongside engineers\\nto explore, prototype, and apply the latest AI/ML tools and techniques to solve real\\nproblems in modem/cellular test automation, log analysis, and defect triage. The ideal\\ncandidate is not just familiar with AI/ML concepts from coursework but has hands-on\\nexperience building and experimenting with current-generation tools - LLM APIs,\\nagentic frameworks, RAG pipelines, and NLP libraries - and is eager to bring that\\ncuriosity to a fast-evolving, high-impact engineering domain.\",\"description\":\"If you are a student who lives at the cutting edge of AI/ML - always experimenting\\nwith the newest models, frameworks, and techniques - and want to apply that\\ncuriosity to solve real, high-impact problems in cellular software testing, this\\ninternship offers a rare opportunity to work at the intersection of two fast-moving fields.\\nYou'll gain hands-on experience with production test systems while helping shape how\\nAI/ML transforms the way we test and validate next-generation connectivity products.\",\"responsibilities\":\"Prototype LLM-powered tools and agentic workflows to automate or accelerate test execution, results analysis, defect triage, or findings summarization\\nExperiment with the latest AI/ML models, frameworks, and techniques (agentic frameworks, RAG, prompt engineering) and evaluate their applicability to end-to-end test automation\\nBuild small proof-of-concept NLP pipelines for test initiation, monitoring, log parsing, root cause analysis and extracting important insight that drive corrections / changes in future test campaigns\\nCollaborate with engineers to integrate promising AI/ML prototypes into existing test tooling\\nPresent findings and demos on new AI/ML techniques explored during the internship, contributing to the team's understanding of emerging trends\\nLearn cellular technologies testing strategies and automation workflows for modem/ cellular testing under the guidance of senior engineers.\",\"preferredQualifications\":\"Basic understanding of C/C++/Objective C/SwiftUI or a comparable programming language\\nUnderstanding of data structures, algorithms, and problem-solving fundamentals\\nExposure to REST APIs and SQL/NoSQL databases\\nInterest in or coursework exposure to communication technologies (LTE, 5G NR) or modem/embedded systems would be an added advantage\\nExperience with Git and collaborative version control workflows\\nGood analytical and debugging skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment\\nGenuine curiosity about staying current with the latest AI/ML tools, models, and research, and translating that into applied engineering solutions.\",\"minimumQualifications\":\"Currently pursuing a Master's / PhD degree in Computer Science, Computer Science Engineering, or a related field\\nStrong proficiency in Python, including scripting, OOP fundamentals, and clean coding practices\\nHands-on project experience (academic, personal, hackathon, or research) applying LLMs, NLP, or generative AI - not just theoretical coursework knowledge\\nGood experience with prompt engineering, RAG pipelines, knowledge graphs or fine-tuning concepts\\nPractical exposure to at least one agentic framework or tool-orchestration pattern (LangChain, LangGraph, AutoGen, MCP, or similar), through projects or self-study
