Are you a student passionate about workplace safety, environmental compliance, and creating a safer working environment? We are looking for an enthusiastic EHS Intern to join our team and gain hands-on exposure to Environment, Health & Safety activities in a manufacturing environment.

What You'll Be Doing

As an EHS Intern, you will work closely with our EHS Specialist and support various activities, including:

* Support Responsible Care (RC) audit preparation and other EHS-related activities.

* Assist in maintaining and updating EHS documents, including policies, procedures and Work Instructions (WI).

* Support EHS induction training and safety awareness activities.

* Assist in coordinating factory safety inspections with internal teams and external parties.

* Support the coordination of environmental and occupational health assessments, such as noise, pollution and health assessments.

* Participate in workplace EHS risk assessments and follow up on improvement actions.

* Support accident and incident investigations and follow up on corrective actions with relevant departments.

* Help promote good EHS and safety practices among shopfloor employees.

* Gain exposure to regulatory requirements, corporate EHS standards and continuous improvement initiatives.

What We're Looking For

* Currently pursuing a Diploma or Degree in Occupational Safety & Health, Environmental Health & Safety, Engineering, or a related field.

* Good understanding of the fundamentals of occupational safety.

* Good communication and interpersonal skills.

* Able to work and communicate with employees at different levels.

* Organized, proactive and willing to learn.

* Good time-management skills.

* Knowledge of continuous improvement or statistical techniques would be an added advantage
