As an Intern in the Global Supply Distribution Department, you will be involved in the following tasks:

Freight Forwarding & Shipping Operations: Understand shipping operation and their needs in order to work on a dashboard or forecasts to simplify TMO operations and presentation needs.

Project Management and co-ordination: Partake in projects with the relevant operation teams and presentation to relevant stakeholders.

Vendor management: To manage the 3PL / Vendor to ensure deliverables and KPIs are met.

Programming to improve efficiency: Be working on Python , Tableau and Deonodo for most projects to improve operations efficiency.

Your Role

Key responsibilities in your new role

* Hands-on Logistics & Supply Chain matters of IFAP Distribution Centers: Hands-on daily operations and preparation of dashboard according to needs
* Project Management and presentation: Will co-ordinate with various departments key stakeholders and perform presentation to IFX management
* Vendor management: To attend monthly supplier evaluation and manage vendors to meet IFX target KPIs
* Programming to improve efficiency: Will make use of Python, Tableau, Denodo to improve efficiency within the department.
Internship Learning Outcomes
* Logistics & Supply Chain industry knowledge: Understanding on Semiconductor and their roles in the Logistics & Supply Chain
* Programming knowledge and understanding: Will gain exposure in programming languages such as Denodo, Python, Tableau
* Project Managements skills : Will learn how to manage timeline and also how to co-ordinate with different key stakeholders and relationship management
* Freight Forwarder Industry knowledge: Will understand how Freight Forwarders & 3PL operate in the market and how they serve Infineon.

Your Profile

Qualifications and skills to help you succeed

* On track to attaining a Bachelor degree in Supply Chain or any related field of study
* Basic knowledge in Logistics & Supply Chain: Basic knowledge will help speed up the learning of daily operations
* Basic programming knowledge: Basic programming knowledge will help expedite the learning, especially on programming language on Denodo, Python & Tableau
* Good personal relationship skills: Will help in managing stakeholders across department for project co-ordinations
* Freight Forwarding / Shipping background : Will help in learning and management of the vendors / 3PL engaged by IFX
* Preferred Internship Period: Jan 27 - Jun 27
