Job Description

As the purchasing intern, you will gain hands-on experience supporting key purchasing and quality initiatives, with opportunities to collaborate across departments including Engineering, Quality, and Materials.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist with identifying and coordinating cost-saving initiatives and continuous improvement efforts
* Support the Purchasing and Quality teams, as well as internal stakeholders, by providing data analysis, documentation, and process updates.
* Maintain and update cost-tracking summaries; ensure accurate communication with relevant team members.
* Conduct audits of purchase orders (back details and communication)
* Help maintain compliance documents within the purchasing master list.
* Coordinate sample parts with the Manufacturing and Engineering teams.
* Support engineering change processes and engineering-to-order activities.
* Collaborate with the Materials team on ongoing and upcoming projects

Requisiti del candidato:

Qualifications

* Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university, or a recent graduate, pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Operations, or a related field
* Minimum GPA of 3.0
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; advanced Excel skills required
* Strong interpersonal skills with an emphasis on communication, collaboration, and active listening
* Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and thrive in a fast-paced environment
