Job Description

Bosch Vehicle Motion North America is searching for a student to help support the Virtual Vehicle Testing and CAE departments. The ideal candidate should be interested and passionate about automotive systems, vehicle dynamics, and simulation.
* Support Steering System Hardware-in-Loop team with product development tasks such as test support and testing chamber prep
* Support Steering CAE team with mechanical simulations
* Document and maintain technical product data and procedures
* Assist with/Develop Testing scripts utilizing Matlab, Simulink, and CarSim
* Assist/Develop Data analysis scripts utilizing MATLAB or dSPACE Automation desk
* Assist with/Develop a Virtual Vehicle Environment

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:
* Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Automotive Engineering or related field
* Minimum 18 years of age
* Minimum cumulative 3.0 GPA
* Understanding of Mechanical/Electrical fundamentals
* Excellent oral and written communication skills
* This internship can be up to 12 months in duration.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Involvement in Formula SAE or Formula Baja preferred
* Strong knowledge of vehicle dynamics
* Strong interpersonal skills
* Experience with Matlab/Simulink preferred
* Experience with Abaqus/Ansys preferred
* Experience with CarSim
* Proficient with hands on skills
