IT Procurement Internship (1 year contract)

Descrizione del lavoro:

* Review incoming internal purchase requests for IT hardware (e.g., laptops, monitors, network and system devices) and software licenses, ensuring proper approvals are in place before generating Purchase Orders (POs).
* Act as the primary point of contact for tracking hardware delivery timelines with vendors, updating stakeholders on delivery ETAs, and resolving shipment delays.
* Coordinate with the IT support team to confirm items are physically received and logged in the system so invoices can be paid.
* Proactively track and maintain the IT maintenance service, outsourcing services, and internet subscription expiry dates, along with ensuring on-time renewals.
* Assist IT Project Managers by sourcing and purchasing per bill-of-materials (BOM) requests for active projects, securing pricing, and tracking project-specific procurement budgets.
* Review and audit recurring monthly IT invoices against actual usage data and contract terms to flag overcharges or unused licenses.
* Assisting with vendor record maintenance and supplier communications

Requisiti del candidato:

* Final Year student in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline.
* Internship availability for the 1-year duration (on-site)
* High comfort level working inside structured workflows
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (data analysis, pivot tables, VLOOKUPs)
* Strong negotiation, organizational, and communication skills
* Can communicate in English
