Nightlife: Although you learn a lot from an Erasmus trip, it's also Party Time! The drinks in Estonia are cheap, but as we went so often in the end it became quite expensive. Food is not so expensive if you stick to local products and going out for dinner is bill-wise lots of fun! Clothes and luxury products are quite expensive and is better to buy in Russia if you have the opportunity to go there. Food, Nightlife: was more expensive than at home. Overall, Telephone: was the same price as at home. Travel, Housing: was less expensive than at home.
Personal comments:
My univerisity provided my books. What suprised me negatively was the brokers fee for my appartment of 600 euros... better try to find an apartment from another international student whose house you can take over! This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

in general the life in Estonia is still a bit cheaper than in Austria. The reason why I am spending more money for housing here than at home is that I am living in a student residence at home and here I have my own flat near Old Town and the university. Housing: was more expensive than at home. Food, Travel, Nightlife, Overall, Telephone: was less expensive than at home.
Personal comments:
do not think that shopping is so cheap hear, that's not true! The well known brands sell their clothes for the same price as in other countries and there are no low budget fashion shops (like H&M) This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

Food, telephone (mobile) and housing were much cheaper. I spent more on nightlife because I went out 4 or 5 times a week, and generally drank more beer (albeit at a cheaper price). I did much more domestic and international travel (a short bus ride as opposed to a long plane ride from Australia). Travel, Nightlife: was more expensive than at home. Food, Overall, Telephone, Housing: was less expensive than at home.
Personal comments:
Eating out is sometimes cheaper than cooking. Also, as beer is significantly cheaper, you may be tempted to drink more! This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

Because I tried to travel a lot, through Scandinavian countries and to Saint Petersburg; and because I had a lot of friends coming at my place for dinner! Food, Travel, Overall, Telephone: was more expensive than at home. Nightlife, Housing: was less expensive than at home.
Personal comments:
Be careful to spend money in Helsinki, because the exchange rate is pretty disadvantegeous. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

Prices are a little bit lower when it comes to drinking in bars or restaurants. Prices in shops are pretty much the same as in austria, the only thinks that are noticeably cheaper are vodka and cigarettes. Food, Travel, Overall, Housing: was the same price as at home. Nightlife, Telephone: was less expensive than at home.
