Food: it is more expensive Telephone: only had a mobile phone and no fixed line. Travel: travelled in Russia and Baltic states so it is cheaper. But if you plan to go to Lapland or Stockholm, it will be more expensive than in France.

In general, the price level is above that of Germany. Especially imported goods like fresh fruits, etc. are more expensive. Housing costs were slightly higher, but the nightlife and travel expenses were much higher.

Basically finland has a higher living cost if you compare it with spain. That´s why you spend more money.
