HOUSING
by jlithen, Åbo Akademi, Turku, Finland
Mathematics, Erasmus
Personal assessment
Type of housing: On campus
Arranged by: Home university
If returning, I would choose: On campus
Why? If you go as an exchange student you meet a lot of other students on campus.
Personal comments:
It was ok, I had a lot of nice people around me, but of course it could have been better. Anyway the accommodation is not the most important thing when you go abroad to study. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

ACADEMIC
by Ashley, Brandeis University, Waltham, United States

My academic experiences
Course recommendations:
The course topics were interesting, though I did not gain much from the class itself because the classes are run differently than I am used to. In other words, the students are given too much freedom to talk over the teacher!
My opinion of the university assessment
Personal comments:
I am not in a position to say because it the academic life was simply different, not worse, than what I am used to. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

Germans can seem to be quite cold at the beginning. But just share a local Bier (I said one !) with them and you'll see how nice they can be. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself
