RESPONSIBILITIES:

* 70% Design and Integration of Helicopter Mechanical/Electrical Systems using CATIA V5 and Enovia VPM including creation of Partlist (BoM) and release management in SAP
* 30% writing of technical documents
* In this role you will support the team in Safran Engineering Services (Donauwörth, Germany) for Airbus Helicopters projects

MAIN ACTIVITIES:

* Design and integration of Helicopter mechanical and electrical systems (such as Communication/Navigation and Lighting Equipment) in CATIA V5
* Design of brackets (sheet metal and/or milled parts) for new installations
* Creation of 3D data and 2D drawings (Single Part / Sub-assembly / Installation drawings)
* Creation of parts list or BoM (Bill of Material)
* CAD data management in Enovia VPM and release management in SAP/Winchill
* Review of supplier documents/datasheets (drawings, wiring diagrams, qualification docs, etc)
* Writing of Engineering/Technical documents such as Technical Notes, Project Descriptions, Certification documents

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

* Mechanical Engineering degree or similar qualification
* Knowledge or experience in Mechanical/Electrical Systems Design
* CAD-tools: CATIA V5 (or equivalent), Enovia VPM (or equivalent)
* SAP for creation of Parts List (BoM) and release management is a plus
* Creation of technical drawings and how to read them
* Writing technical documents in English
* Aerospace environment knowledge is a plus
* Aerospace Standards knowledge (DO-160, CS-29,…) is a plus
* Fluent in English is must, German knowledge is a plus
* Mobility (Donauwörth-Bavaria, Germany)

The VIE program enables French companies to send entry level candidates between 18 and 28 years old on an assignment abroad. This program is applicable only for French and European Economic candidates, for a 12 to 24 months mission .

Eligibility for the V.I.E. program generally requires that applicants should not have paid taxes or resided in the country for more than approximately six months within the period immediately preceding their V.I.E. application or start date. The program is intended for those seeking new international experience.
