As a Plant Engineer you will be working in our Plant Edison Road within an international environment.

Your main tasks will be:

-Defining plant specific equipment (from specification to realization)
-Assisting in defining Standard Operation Procedures for production operators in accordance with best practices
-Providing administrative support within SAP, product files, laboratory reports, quality tests, transports.
-Managing of serial modifications requested by customer.
-Managing of industrial modifications / installations
-Managing Engineering changes and implementation

You will be participating in technical feasibility studies, PFMEA's, verification of equipment versus standards, safety assessments, reception of equipment incident and accident analysis.

Organization and support-trials:

-Organizing pre-production and production runs with production team for new products
-Training production teams
-Following-up engineering status and stock positions of finished products, semi-finished, components and special packaging
-Co-ordinating laboratory tasks for the project: project control plans, tests, R&R studies…
-Pilots' customer spare parts validation.
-Supports Facilities activities.

During the production lifetime, the Plant Engineer is responsible of:

-Transferring production between plants.
-Updating the PRU (factory cost price).
-On a permanent basis looking for cost reduction opportunities during launch and serial production.

During the project phase, the Plant Engineer will participate in small CAPEX validation and installation, will organize/write all workstation instructions, and will manage and update technical drawings and technical data sheets.

The Plant Engineer is responsible for masking, polishing, expertising the quality and define benches and installation and mini racks (scrap, polishing...) for internal flows

Candidate Requirements:

You are a highly motivated young graduate from an engineering school or university with a strong interest for a technical environment, especially in quality. As part of your studies, you have already undertaken an international curriculum (e.g., one semester or year outside your home country) that will help you being the cross-departmental contact point for the plant.

You are innovative with a strong client orientation point of view. You are able to make good decision in a fast-moving environment as well as achieving planned results. You demonstrate strong leadership competences and good communication skills that will enable you to cooperate easily with all stakeholders. You are committed to quality and continuous improvement.

You are open minded and with a serious desire to learn and work in a team, as well as a clear willingness to embark on an international career. A first experience or internship in the automotive sector can be a plus.

Your English and another language is a plus
