Position Overview
L.E.K. Consulting is seeking talented and highly motivated students to join our Summer Program. This immersive program lasts approximately six weeks and takes place at the beginning of the year, offering participants first-hand experience in strategy consulting.
As a Summer Intern, you will become an integral member of our consulting teams, working alongside colleagues at different levels of seniority on strategic projects across a broad range of industries and business topics.
Throughout the program, you will contribute to solving important business challenges, participate in different stages of consulting engagements, and receive ongoing guidance and feedback from experienced consultants.
The Summer Program provides a practical introduction to life at L.E.K. and an opportunity to develop the analytical, communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills required for a career in strategy consulting.
Key Responsibilities
Your responsibilities may include:
* Supporting the structuring and analysis of complex business problems using logical, hypothesis-driven thinking;
* Conducting research on markets, companies, competitors, customers, and industry trends;
* Collecting, organizing, and analyzing quantitative and qualitative data to develop meaningful insights;
* Contributing to analyses such as market sizing, benchmarking, opportunity assessments, and scenario development;
* Supporting the development of analytical models, presentations, and materials for internal teams and clients;
* Participating in team discussions and clearly communicating hypotheses, findings, and key takeaways;
* Collaborating across different stages of a project and adapting to the specific needs of each engagement;
* Using digital tools and emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence, to enhance the efficiency and quality of research and analysis.
