Edge AI Field Application Engineer Intern

Job Description:

Key responsibilities:
* Develop and debug Edge AI applications and proof-of-concept (POC) projects based on NXP processors, AI accelerators, and related software platforms.
* Investigate emerging AI technologies, including Generative AI, LLMs, AI agents, and related tools, and evaluate their potential use in team workflows. Explore, prototype, and implement AI-based tools and applications to improve productivity and efficiency within the team.

Requirements:
* Currently pursuing a Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
* Strong interest in AI technologies, particularly Edge AI. Familiarity with machine learning frameworks, AI models, or AI development tools.
* Programming experience and proficiency in C, C++, and/or Python.
* Familiarity with Linux and embedded SW/HW development is a plus.
* Good problem-solving skills and willingness to explore and learn new technologies is a plus
* Fluent English communication skills in reading, writing, listening, and speaking is a plus
