Your Mission

Help shape the future of digital healthcare and surgical innovation. As part of Stryker's Research & Development team, you will contribute to projects that combine medical imaging, software development, and surgical navigation technologies. You'll gain hands-on experience working with advanced technologies, develop practical engineering skills, and collaborate with experts from different disciplines. This Medical Engineering Internship offers meaningful project ownership, exposure to innovation in a global MedTech company, and the opportunity to contribute to technologies that help improve patient care worldwide.

What You'll Do

* Develop prototype solutions for innovative applications in surgical navigation and medical imaging
* Support proof-of-concept projects for next-generation navigation technologies
* Implement and test software solutions using C++, Python, and MATLAB
* Evaluate technologies and concepts within advanced medical imaging and navigation ecosystems
* Collaborate with an international Research & Development team to bring innovative ideas to life

What You'll Bring

* Currently pursuing a Master's degree in Computer Science, Medical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field
* Good knowledge of object-oriented programming and experience with C++
* Initial experience with Python, MATLAB, or similar programming languages
* Familiarity with OpenCV, VTK, Qt, DCMTK, or comparable software libraries is a plus
* Good English language skills (minimum B2)
