ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES

(COMPANY NAME) Italia is looking for a talented and brilliant intern, with a strong passion for the trade world and particularly for the retail channel built within Shopping Malls, Electronic Chains and Tobacco shops, to join the Consumer Activation Team based in Rome. As an intern in our team you will get the chance to discover the retail world and its consumers' thinking/habits. You will be fully involved in the process of analysing and finding new solutions for our retail channels, with a focus on Electronic Chains. Agency management will be a core task as well. You will also have exposure to activities related to Brand Deployment, Trade Marketing and Distribution, SP&I (Strategy Planning and Insights).

Reports to: Clementina Flesca

WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR

* Receive and organise reports from external agencies

* Analyse numbers and get insights from performances

* Find and propose new solutions to optimize and develop retail channels

* Circulate results with all the relevant stakeholders

* Understand competition's channel strategy

* Relate with agencies to manage operative issues

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

* Current enrolment/degree in Marketing, Business Management or other related fields of study

* Excellent knowledge of MS Office package, in particular of Excel & PowerPoint

* Proficiency in written and spoken English and Italian

* Flexibility and willingness to adapt to a changing environment

* Analytical, attentive to detail, able to see the big picture

* Proactive nature and ability to learn fast

* Multitasking skills and flexible approach
