The Team and Role:
Join the Mechanical team for Audio products designing and developing consumer electronic experiences, such as Over-The-Head Headsets. You will be an integral member of an innovation group that explores, defines, and develops new consumer devices. This position offers a great opportunity to learn about design thinking and user-centered design in a fast-paced environment.
Your Contribution:
- Work as part of the Audio ME team to develop user-centric products.
- Develop concepts, prototype, test, learn, and iterate
- Explore how to make headsets better conform to the human head shape
- Model concepts in CAD (Creo).
- Use rapid prototyping equipment to bring concepts into the physical world and produce functional prototypes.
- Test and evaluate prototypes using our fully equipped test lab.
- Conduct user tests on functional prototypes.
- Analyze data generated from lab testing.
- Contribute to innovation in technology and products.
- Drive to learn and deliver results.
- Have fun and work well as part of our team.
Key Qualifications:
- Strong physical prototyping skills.
- Basic 3D modeling skills in Creo or similar 3D CAD package.
- Knowledge of materials (plastics and metals).
- Highly skilled in problem-solving.
- 'Design Thinking' mindset.
- Passion for Audio products.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of articulating concepts effectively.
- A proactive learner who stays updated on product design.
- Capable of collaborating with diverse teams and external partners, demonstrating strong teamwork.
