Manufacturing Engineer 2
Responsible for improving the processes, tools and equipment of the Manufacturing process, leading to predictable, reliable, stable and efficient production processes.
Your role:
* Demonstrates strong understanding of product functionality, monitors and improves yields, cycle times, and costs, and implements lean manufacturing practices.
* Independently performs process validations, supports and leads project activities, and provides guidance to operators during implementation.
* Builds relationships with engineers and teams, supports new supplier processes for materials/equipment, and assists in technology/tooling reviews.
* Leads CAPA, CIP, NCR initiatives, participates in FMEA/root cause analysis, and represents the company in audits as a subject matter expert.
* Applies company policies, works on mid-level projects with minimal supervision, adheres to budgets, and follows standard practices while providing training and support.
You're the right fit if:
* Bachelor's degree in engineering or science strongly preferred, or equivalent experience; 2-3 years in manufacturing engineering, ideally within the medical device industry, in automation projects, regulatory initiatives, and cost-saving efforts, including automation and design changes.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word) with experience using Visio and Project; capable of learning additional software as required.
* Advanced English communication skills.
* Comfortable working with various software packages and tools to support engineering and manufacturing processes.
How we work together
We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week.
Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company's facilities.
Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company's main facilities, generally at the customers' or suppliers' locations.
