Job Description:

We are looking to expand our team in Napier and have a vacancy for an Engineer Surveyor with experience in Pressure Equipment and/or Crane Inspections.
In this role you will carry out hands on statutory inspections, ensuring our clients comply with relevant legislation.
Key Responsibilities:
* Working with a diverse and interesting range of clients across the Hawkes Bay - no two days will be the same
* Manage your own diary to undertake statutory and regulatory inspection of boilers, pressure vessels, lifting equipment and cranes in accordance with NZ Regulations and Standards
* Identify and assist in developing and securing new business opportunities
* Provide training and mentoring to trainees when qualified to do so

Qualifications:

* Certification Board for Inspection Personnel (CBIP) Qualifications in a relevant discipline is preferred
* Certified Welding Inspection qualification
* Degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent work experience
* A full NZ drivers' licence
Knowledge and Experience
* Experience inspecting all types of plant and equipment including pressure vessels, boilers, lifting equipment and cranes
* A strong team player, someone who enjoys working in a friendly and supportive environment to deliver a high level of service to our clients
* The ability to establish and maintain effective relationship with our clients and gain their trust and respect
* Excellent time management skills with ability to organise your own diary and interact with clients.
* The ability to write technical reports and meet reporting deadlines
