Reporting to the National Service Manager and directly managing a team of Field Service engineers, you will be one of five supervisors responsible for ensuring a first rate service to our 1400+ retail branches and on course betting shops at one of the many UK wide racecourses where we are represented. This role covers around London and the South East.

Your role in the team

As well as looking after your field based team, you could be providing support to our colleagues at one of our head office locations in London or Leeds or setting up EPoS and Video Wall display systems at one of the high profile sporting events we sponsor, such as the PDC Darts World Championship at Alexandra Palace.

As we install and maintain a wide variety of systems - AV displays, audio, EPoS, CCTV and the associated infrastructure - you will be able to demonstrate skills, experience and an understanding in most or all of these areas. We will support you with in house training in both the technical aspects and the managerial side.

As someone that the wider team will look to for advice with technical problems, you will be able to work under pressure in a business where things can change by the minute! Always having "eyes on the customer" they will be the focus of everything you do.

Skills needed

You'll need to bring experience and qualifications in PC or electronic servicing, and experience working in a similar role. You have experience of managing a field based servicing team, and an understanding of structured performance management practices.

Communication is key within this role. You'll be dealing with people on different levels and working with SLA's and KPI's. You have the ability to analyse data and use this to manage your team and update the wider business, and the ability to manage projects to tight timescales.

Some weekend working will be involved. As this is a field based role, you will be provided with a company vehicle, so a full clean driving licence is a must.
