Cloud Financial Analyst

Sage's drive to be a world-class SaaS company, involves forging strong partnerships with cloud providers and suppliers. Managing cloud costs effectively is essential to ensuring financial efficiency and supporting key initiatives within Cloud Operations.

As a Cloud Financial Analyst, you will analyse cloud hosting expenses, optimize usage, and provide critical financial insights to guide strategic decisions. You'll work across teams to manage supplier billing, track performance metrics, and drive cost-saving initiatives.

This is a hybrid role - three days per week in our Newcastle office.
What you'll do:

* Analyse and manage cloud supplier billing to ensure accurate financial tracking.
* Identify budget risks and develop strategies for cost optimization.
* Monitor cloud usage and drive efficiency improvements.
* Develop best practices for cloud financial management and reporting.
* Oversee Reserved Instance and Savings Plan purchases, ensuring maximum value.
* Provide sustainability and performance reports for key products.

What We're Looking For

Essential:
* Financial Analysis expertise - budgeting, forecasting, and analysis.
* Advanced Excel skills.
* Experience with BI tools such as Power BI, AWS QuickSight, or Tableau.

Nice-to-Have:
* Experience in a similar role within a Cloud Operations environment.
* Experience in roles such as Cloud Billing Analyst, Cloud Manager, Financial Analyst, FinOps Analyst or equivalent.
