Eurobio Scientific offers a VIE position (French International Volunteer Program) as: Application & Business Development Engineer

Application & Business Development Engineer

Within the Application Department, your technical support and guidance will be essential for the integration and use of an automated solution within the client environment. This VIE will also allow you to contribute to the company's business strategy and commercial development with our clients and prospects.
In detail, your main responsibilities related to the Application field will include:
* Performing product demonstrations (automates or software) on-site at client locations or at headquarters in Utrecht.
* Providing client training on-site, providing post-sales follow-up, and maintaining a relationship of trust with clients.
* Conducting regular technical follow-ups regarding the use of the provided automates and software.
* Performing corrective actions to solve technical and/or application issues.
* Managing QA/QC or Automation projects before and after sales.
* Serving as the field interface for automate/software connectivity.
* Participating in the deployment of solutions.
* Implementing complementary techniques.
* Acting as the field interface for the automation support hotline.
Your main responsibilities related to Business Development:
* Ensuring monthly tracking of business activities.
* Prospecting and developing a client portfolio in the assigned sector (hospitals, laboratories, industrial accounts, etc.).
* Preparing commercial offers (quotes) and following up through sales closure.
* Negotiating contracts and commercial terms in compliance with the pricing policy.
* Collaborating with marketing to provide market intelligence and participating in new product launches.

Requerimientos del candidato/a:

* Education & Experience: You hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree (Bac+3 to Bac+5) in a scientific discipline related to biology, with initial experience as a Laboratory Technician (R&D). * Soft Skills: Methodical, autonomous, and responsive, with excellent listening and persuasion skills. Organized and results-oriented, you combine team spirit with a strong sense of customer service to analyze needs and meet your goals. * Technical Skills: Quick to grasp complex environments, you have strong IT skills (operating systems, LIMS/IS software, networks) or analysis software. * Commercial Background: Initial experience in customer relations or business development within an international environment. * Languages: Fluent English and French (C1/C2 level)
