About this position
What you'll do
* Conduct internal security investigations to detect economic crime affecting the company and violations of internal policies and procedures
* Develop and enhance internal controls to reduce security risks and prevent fraudulent activities
* Develop and optimize processes, standards, and best practices for managing threat scenarios (Threat Management)
* Serve as the subject matter expert for corporate threat management, with a focus on potential threats to German sites, high-profile individuals-particularly senior executives-and employees
* Design and deliver training programs to raise awareness among managers and employees on corporate threat management and preventive measures
* Conduct OSINT (Open Source Intelligence) research and background screenings
What makes you a good fit
* Successfully completed degree in Business Administration, Law, Security Management, Criminology, Criminal Psychology, or a comparable qualification
* Relevant professional experience in corporate internal investigations and/or the enforcement of intellectual property or brand protection rights, for example as part of a forensic team at a professional services firm or within a corporate investigations team
* Strong understanding of the legal aspects of internal investigations, particularly in the areas of data protection, employment law, and criminal law
* Ideally, initial experience in corporate threat management, including both the identification of risks and the implementation of preventive security measures
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to quickly grasp complex issues and communicate them clearly and effectively
* Fluent German and English language skills, both written and spoken
