Team Overview

As a Software Developer in the Resources Management Team, you'll play a key part in transforming airport operations with state-of-the-art technology. Our tools empower airport operators to better manage critical resources like stands, gates, buses, check-in counters, and runways. By improving planning and real-time resource adjustments, we're not just optimizing operations; we're significantly improving the travel experience for passengers worldwide. This role is about giving operational teams the capabilities they need to reduce congestion and ensure smoother journeys for everyone.

Technical environment:

* Technologies: JBoss, Spring, Maven, Apache ActiveMQ Drools

* Tools: Git, Bitbucket, Copilot, VS Code, IntelliJ or Eclipse.

* Database: Oracle and SQL language.

* Cloud: Kubernetes, OpenShift, and Microsoft Azure ecosystem.

* Practices: SAFe, CI/CD, DevOps, FinOps, Automated Testing

Common accountabilities:

- Works autonomously within defined processes and procedures or methodologies, takes standard decisions and may support the development of solutions to complex problems of a recurring nature.​

- Receives instruction, guidance and direction from more senior level roles or manager, with regular monitoring on the status of the assignments.​

- May have specialized formal education or the equivalent work experience and has the required technical and functional skills and basic knowledge of the business.

Specific accountabilities:

● Analyse specifications
_ Define user requirements for the development of new (or upgrade of existing) software solutions.

● Design systems and code
_ Design technical solutions and perform feasibility studies.
_ Propose viable technical solutions to Product Management and/or users for validation.
_ Develop software according to (COMPANY NAME) standards.
_ Model, design and implement databases.

● Test and maintain the software
_ Conduct unit, package and performance tests and ensure a level of quality in line with the (COMPANY NAME) guidelines.
_ Participate in the validation phase of the product cycle, fine-tuning when necessary to finalize the product.
_ Support the customer by debugging existing solutions in collaboration with Product Manager or Product Definition Analyst
