Position Summary

Managing taxes and using technology to do so is a critical part of business strategy. As a Tax Consultant, you will help clients evaluate the tax implications of complex decisions, support compliance obligations, and use technology-enabled approaches to address business needs.

Work you'll do
As a Tax Consultant on the Tax team, you will be responsible for supporting client engagements through tax research, analysis, and collaboration.
* Research tax laws, regulations, and guidance to support technical conclusions
* Analyze client facts and business decisions to identify tax implications
* Prepare workpapers, summaries, and recommendations for client deliverables
* Collaborate with team members to address complex tax issues
* Manage multiple assignments across clients, industries, and timelines

The team
Deloitte Tax professionals help clients address tax matters through technical knowledge, process, data, and technology. Teams work across industries to deliver practical insights and solutions to complex business and reporting issues.
Qualifications
Required:
* Must be currently enrolled in an accredited college or university and expected to graduate by Summer or Fall 2027 or have completed a bachelor degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Data Analytics, Data Science, Management Information Systems, Engineering, or a related/equivalent program
* Strong academic track record (3.0 cumulative GPA required)
* You must reside within a commutable distance of your assigned office with the ability to commute daily, if required. You can expect to co-locate on average 2-3 times a week with variations based on types of work/projects and client locations
* Ability to travel up to 50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
* Limited immigration sponsorship may be available
* Candidates must be at least 18 years of age at the time of employment
* The start date for this position will be Summer 2027/Winter 2028
Preferred:
* Master of Science in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Data Analytics, Data Science, Management Information Systems, or Engineering
* Internship, summer position, or school job experience in tax, data analytics, or technology

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $54,160 to $99,600.
