Job Description:

At Rituals, we believe happiness can be found in the smallest moments. As a global luxury lifestyle brand, we continuously invest in innovation, technology, and data to support our growing retail and business landscape. Joining Rituals means becoming part of a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment where collaboration, personal growth, and meaningful impact go hand in hand.
This role is part of the Tech & Data organization, within the People, Financial & Sustainability Value Stream. More specifically, you will join the People Enablement Team, which focuses on enabling business capabilities across the employee lifecycle. Within this team, there are dedicated domains for Workforce Management, Internal Communications, and Learning, each supported by Product Owners and Business Analysts.
About the Team
You will be part of the Workforce Management domain, working closely with a Product Owner, fellow Business Analysts, and stakeholders from both HR and Retail. While each domain has its own focus, the team collaborates closely through weekly alignment meetings, knowledge sharing, and cross-domain support. Short communication lines, strong collaboration, and a culture of sharing best practices are key aspects of the way the team operates.
The Role
As a Business Analyst - Workforce Management, you will play a key role in bridging business needs and technology solutions. You will help shape the future of Workforce Management at Rituals by improving processes, systems, integrations, and data flows that support workforce planning, scheduling, and operational excellence.
This is a broad and hands-on role. On one day, you may be facilitating requirement-gathering sessions with business stakeholders; on another, you may be analysing APIs, reviewing integrations, investigating system behaviour, or helping resolve operational issues. The ideal candidate enjoys understanding how systems work behind the scenes and is comfortable navigating both business and technical discussions.
The team is specifically looking for someone with a strong analytical mindset and an affinity for technical topics. You do not need to be a developer, but you should feel comfortable diving into integrations, system architecture, and data flows while partnering with technical teams and vendors.
Your Responsibilities
You will help shape the future of Workforce Management at Rituals by improving processes, systems, and data flows. Your responsibilities will include:
* Analyse, document, and validate business requirements across the Workforce Management landscape.
* Translate business needs into clear functional solutions and process improvements.
* Support the design and optimisation of processes, integrations, and data flows.
* Perform assessments to understand current processes, systems, and business challenges.
* Gather requirements and facilitate workshops with stakeholders from HR, Retail, and Tech.
* Contribute to logical process models, functional designs, and solution documentation.
* Collaborate with Product Owners, developers, vendors, and business stakeholders.
* Support testing activities and ensure solutions meet business expectations.
* Investigate and resolve incidents, recurring issues, and operational tickets.
* Monitor integrations and validate data outputs.
* Maintain accurate documentation in Jira and Confluence.
* Support the long-term Workforce Management roadmap and future technology initiatives.

Qualifications:

We are looking for someone who combines strong analytical skills with an interest in technology, processes, and the way systems support the business. To be successful in this role, you bring:
* Bachelor's degree in Information Management, Business IT, HR, or a related field.
* Experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar analytical role.
* Experience within Workforce Management is strongly preferred.
* Retail industry experience is a significant advantage.
* Knowledge of HR processes and systems is a plus.
* Experience gathering requirements, supporting testing, and documenting solutions.
* Affinity with integrations, APIs, system behaviour, and technical documentation.
* Ability to understand how information, processes, and systems connect across an organisation.
* Comfortable balancing strategic initiatives with operational support activities.
Strong communication skills and the confidence to collaborate with both business and technical stakeholders. The team is especially looking for a Business Analyst who enjoys diving into the more technical aspects of Workforce Management rather than focusing solely on stakeholder management or project coordination.

Together, we bring our brand philosophy to life by transforming everyday routines into meaningful moments.
