ACCOUNTING CLERK
Do you enjoy working with numbers, structure, and accuracy? Hyatt Place Amsterdam Airport is looking for an Accounting Clerk to support our Finance team in day to day financial operations.
About the role:
* As Accounting Clerk, you will be performing certain tasks in accounts receivable, payable & general cashier while reporting directly to the Finance Manager;
* You will follow up on AR and AP invoices and ensure the accuracy of all debits and credits posted to AR and GL accounts;
* You will be participating in a monthly inventory counts and processing inventory in the hotel procurement system
* You will prepare month-end journals.
* You are pro-active and solve any discrepancies you find and take care weekly or monthly reconciliations.

* This role is graded under the Dutch Horeca CLA using the 'referentiefuncties Horeca' and is classified in salary group V, including the applicable salary scale for full time employment. The corresponding gross monthly salary scale ranges from EUR2.505,04.-EUR3.032,79, based on full time employment. The starting level within the scale depends on experience.
* We offer 25 vacation days (full-time), 8% holiday allowance, travel allowance, daily meal, and 5 extra paid paternity leave days after 1 year

Requerimientos del candidato/a:

Qualifications:
* You are fluent in English;
* You are a good problem solver
* You have an eye for details and good organization skill;
* You are pro-active, open-minded, and eager to learn.
* You are eligible to work in the Netherlands and/or have a Dutch working permit;
Preferred Qualifications:
* Opera knowledge;
* Experience with a cash machine (we have Glory);
* Familiar with Birchstreet (or other procurement system).
