Join our Budapest Team and advance your career as a Finance Advisory Lead! Please note this is a fixed-term contract until 1/04/2028.

As a Finance Advisory Manager you will support major finance transformation initiatives across processes, systems, and controls. A core part of the role is delivering complex organisational changes, separation project related business transformations, technical and business cut over preparations, management and delivery - including divestments, mergers, acquisitions, and joint ventures - ensuring clean financial cutovers, strong controls, and smooth transitions. You will optimize finance and procurement processes, partner with cross-functional teams, and provide data-driven insights that shape bp's future finance landscape.

This is a delivery focused role, hence can do demeanor is a must. Candidates should bring relevant finance transformation experience, strong SAP and process expertise, and the ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, international environments.

Key Accountabilities:
Finance Process & Systems Analysis:
* Analyze, document, and optimize end-to-end finance processes.
* Evaluate and enhance internal controls, ensuring compliance with bp's policies and regulatory requirements.
* Support the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of finance systems, including requirements gathering, testing, and user enablement.

Finance Transformation Programme Delivery:
* Work across multiple finance transformation teams to deliver large-scale programmes and smaller initiatives, ensuring alignment of scope, timelines, and dependencies.
* Lead finance workstreams for organizational changes, including data separation, migration, and cutover.
* Coordinate activities related to legal entity set-up, company code configuration, and financial closure (statutory, tax, treasury).

Business Partnering:
* Collaborate with finance, business, and technology teams to understand requirements, find opportunities, and deliver solutions that drive value.
* Act as a trusted advisor to the business, providing insights and recommendations based on robust financial analysis.

Data & Insights:
* Develop and maintain dashboards, Key Performance Indicators, and analytics to provide actionable insights for decision-making and performance tracking.
* Support data integrity and quality initiatives across finance processes and systems.

Change Management:
* Support change initiatives, including process redesign, system implementations, and adoption of new ways of working.
* Facilitate training and communication to ensure successful adoption of new processes and tools.

Compliance & Controls:
* Ensure finance processes and projects adhere to internal controls, regulatory requirements, and bp's standards.
* Participate in audits and support remediation of identified issues.

Essential Experience & Job Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field.
* Professional certification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, PMP) is an advantage.
* Written and oral fluency in English.
* Experience in finance transformation, business analysis, or project delivery within a large organization.
* Strong understanding of core finance processes (especially R2R) and related controls.
* Exposure to complex transactions (e.g., divestments, mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures).
* Hands-on experience with SAP or similar ERP systems; familiarity with data migration and testing cycles.
* Strong stakeholder management and excellent communication and relationship building skills.
