Engineer, Technical Service

Location: Budapest, Hungary. Relocation assistance is available for eligible candidates and their families, if needed.

This is a client-facing technical role connected to our Bornem Belgium site, offering the opportunity to support international customers while delivering high-quality technical expertise across EMEA, primarily focused on Eastern Europe countries

Office-first roles
This is a home office-first role. Working together in person supports close, real-time collaboration and team alignment, enabling us to deliver our best work. You will work primarily in the home based office, combined with approximately 50% travel to client sites.

What you will do:
* Act as the primary technical point of contact for clients, delivering high-quality support remotely and on site.
* Travel (~50%) to customer locations across EMEA, specially focused on Eastern EU countries, to support installations, operations, and troubleshooting.
* Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure long-term satisfaction and collaboration.
* Support audits, client visits, and technical discussions as a subject matter expert.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Quality, Production, MSAT, Project Management) to meet client expectations.
* Ensure all activities comply with GMP, safety, and regulatory standards· Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and share best practices across teams.

What we are looking for:
* Experience in a technical role within pharmaceutical, biotech, nutraceutical environment or other regulated environments.
* Experience on capsule filling industry (nutra/pharma), especially focused on capsule filling machines technologies.
* Strong client-facing and communication skills across diverse cultures and regions.
* Fluency in English (written and spoken), and wished to add any Eastern country language (I.e.: Polish, Balkans, Romanian, Czech).
* Ability and willingness to travel internationally up to 50% of the time.
* Solid understanding of GMP and quality standards.
* Strong problem-solving skills, autonomy, and adaptability in a dynamic environment.
* Background in Life Sciences, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
