Product Owner

The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Product Owner to join Worldline's SEPA Tribe within the Account Payments division, based in Poland. The SEPA Tribe is responsible for managing and evolving Worldline's SEPA payment solutions including SEPA Credit Transfers, Direct Debits, Card Clearing, and related back-office processing services.
This role offers the opportunity to shape the future of European payment infrastructure by working on products that handle millions of transactions daily, serving banks and financial institutions across the SEPA zone.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
Product Strategy & Vision
* Define and communicate clear product vision and strategy aligned with Worldline's transformation priorities
* Develop and maintain product roadmaps for SEPA payment solutions with multi-year perspective
* Collaborate with business leadership to identify market opportunities and competitive advantages
* Monitor regulatory changes and industry trends (DORA, instant payments, digital currencies) affecting SEPA services
Product Management & Ownership
* Own the complete product lifecycle from conception through delivery and optimization
* Lead quarterly and annual product planning cycles with cross-functional teams
* Prioritize features and enhancements based on customer needs, market conditions, and business impact
* Establish and track KPIs and success metrics for product performance
* Manage product backlog in collaboration with Development teams using agile methodologies
Stakeholder Management
* Serve as primary interface between business units, development teams, and customers
* Lead customer discovery sessions to understand pain points and requirements
* Present product updates and roadmap priorities to executive leadership and the Board
Delivery & Execution
* Work closely with Scrum Masters, developers, and QA teams to ensure timely and quality delivery
* Participate in agile ceremonies (sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives)
* Manage scope and trade-offs to meet business objectives and delivery commitments
* Support operational excellence through continuous improvement and learning initiatives
Who Are We Looking For
We look for big thinkers. People who can drive positive change, step up and show what's next - people with passion, can-do attitude and a hunger to learn and grow. In practice this means:
* 5+ years of product management or product ownership experience in financial services, payments, or fintech sectors
* Proven track record of successfully managing complex, regulated products in payments or banking environment
* Experience managing enterprise-level software products with multiple stakeholders
* Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional teams in an agile environment
* Experience with SEPA payment schemes, financial messaging (SWIFT, ISO 20022), or payment processing systems is highly desirable
* Strong understanding of payment systems, clearing mechanisms, and settlement processes
* Knowledge of SEPA regulations, compliance requirements, and international payment standards
* Familiarity with modern software development practices (Agile, SAFe, DevOps)
* Experience with cloud platforms and modern IT architecture
* Understanding of data security, PCI DSS, and regulatory compliance frameworks
