Job Purpose:

To support the HSE Manager in delivering world-class Health, Safety, Environmental, Energy and Sustainability performance across the site, ensuring legal compliance, continuous improvement, employee engagement and alignment with Danone and Alpro standards.

Key accountabilities, deliverables & KPIs, impact on business results:
* Lead delivery of key projects.
* Help maintain ISO 14001 management systems and legal compliance registers.
* Support environmental permitting, waste, energy and sustainability compliance requirements.
* Conduct audits, inspections and workplace assessments.
* Develop risk assessments, safe systems of work and operational procedures.
* Lead and support accident, incident and near-miss investigations.
* Coordinate HSE communications, campaigns and behavioral safety programs.
* Deliver HSE training, inductions and awareness initiatives.
* Monitor KPI performance and prepare management reports.
* Support sustainability, carbon, water, waste and energy reduction initiatives.

Qualifications:
* NEBOSH General Certificate in Occupational H&S or equivalent (Essential).
* NEBOSH/IEMA Environmental Certificate or equivalent (Essential).
* ISO 45001 Internal Auditor (Desirable).
* ISO 14001 Internal Auditor (Desirable).
* Train the Trainer qualification (Desirable).
 
Experience:
* Manufacturing environment.
* Health & Safety management systems.
* Environmental compliance and permitting.
* Accident investigation and root cause analysis.
* Behavioural safety programmes.
* Audit and inspection processes.
 
Technical Skills:
