(COMPANY NAME) was also recently acquired by Ericson, and is now forging ahead to create a brand new market around Network APIs, a market poised to be worth $15B+ by 2030, and (COMPANY NAME) and Ericson together are blazing a path to capturing the vast majority of that new market and is already far far ahead of the competition. The Ericson investment in (COMPANY NAME) has further boosted our growth and need for key talents.

Why This Role Matters

The Core Services team sits under every single API our customers use everyday. The Core services are therefore key to the good functioning of the platform, and collectively allow us to launch new services quickly and efficiently, thus maintaining our ability to gain market-share.
We are looking for a talented and experienced technical and enterprise architect. You will lead the architecture initiative for some of (COMPANY NAME)'s highest-profile and key strategic projects.
You will also work directly with engineering teams, enabling them to deliver software more effectively. You will be a member of the API Group's architecture advisory group.
Finally, you will be a key advisor to the Director of Engineering, being an important bridge between them and the engineering teams.

What You Must Have Experience In

* 10+ years in software development

What You're Good At

* You can organise yourself effectively to work cross-department

* Finding pragmatic solutions to complex socio-technological problems.

What technical skills are a must

* At least one of Java, Golang, Kotlin, Python or a similar programming language
* Cloud infrastructure experience (AWS preferable)
* Mapping of platform architectures
* System design
* Strong understanding of security best practices

What technical skills are nice to have but not essential

* Kubernetes or a similar container orchestrator
* Kafka or similar event bus technology
* Database architecture
