We're now looking for a Host/Hostess to join our team!
The role
As a Host/Hostess at Big Mamma, you'll be the first person our guests meet, creating a warm, professional and welcoming experience from the moment they arrive.
You will:
* Greet and seat guests, allocate tables and accommodate walk-ins
* Master our bookings system and ensure every enquiry is managed efficiently
* Solve problems proactively when bookings or service don't go as planned
* Maintain cleanliness, organisation and health & safety standards across the floor
* Support your colleagues during service with a positive, friendly attitude
* Create memorable moments for guests with a warm, professional approach

About you
* Big smile and passion for Italian food
* High energy, proactive attitude and team spirit
* Excellent customer service and communication skills
* Knowledge of online booking systems (SevenRooms is a bonus)
* Previous experience as a Host/Hostess in a busy restaurant
* Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends
