As a member of the Siemens DI PA Global Factory Network, SIMEA Sibiu takes advantage of cooperating with various divisions to ensure top quality, innovative solutions, and competitive prices on an international level.
SIMEA Sibiu carries out production activities of electronic equipment and systems, of low to medium complexity and with an increased manual processing part. The company is involved in the generation of innovative solutions in the field of design and manufacturing electronic products, support services within its strong competencies: product development (PLM), logistics and production.
We are looking for a Supplier Quality Data Specialist to join our Supplier Quality team in Sibiu.
The Supplier Quality Data Specialist is responsible for requesting, reviewing, editing, and maintaining high-quality supplier information, including Product Notifications and material declarations. The role ensures accuracy, compliance, and timely processing of supplier-provided quality and regulatory information, supporting internal quality, engineering, and compliance requirements for the whole Digital Industry business of Siemens AG.
This will be your impact:
* Request, review, edit, and validate Supplier Material Declarations to ensure completeness, accuracy, and adherence to internal and external sustainability and material compliance standards.
* Ensure consistency of data across multiple systems, locations, databases, and documentation formats.
* Verify supplier documentation for compliance with company policies, customer requirements, and applicable regulations.
* Ensure quality and consistency of our PLM master data and documentation
* Evaluate Supplier Product Notifications within Product Lifecycle Management and provide information to relevant cross-functional partners (e.g. Supplier Quality Engineering, R&D, Procurement)
* Identify gaps, inconsistencies, or errors in submitted documentation and coordinate corrections with suppliers or internal stakeholders.
* Support audits (internal and external) by providing accurate and traceable supplier documentation.
* Act as a point of contact for suppliers regarding documentation quality, clarification requests, and required revisions.
* Collaborate closely with Supplier Quality Engineers, Purchasing, Engineering, and Regulatory teams from Sustainability and EHS.
* Provide guidance to suppliers on documentation standards, templates, and submission requirements.
* Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying recurring documentation issues and proposing process enhancements.
* Contribute to the development and updating of documentation guidelines and work instructions.
This is how you'll win us over:
* Bachelor's degree in Quality Management, Engineering, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
* Experience in supplier quality, quality systems, or technical documentation is preferred.
* Familiarity with material declarations and supplier quality documentation processes.
* Strong attention to detail and high accuracy in document editing and data validation.
* Good understanding of quality management principles and supplier quality processes.
* Ability to interpret technical and regulatory information.
* Effective written and verbal communication skills, especially in supplier-facing interactions.
* Proficiency in MS Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and quality or supplier management systems.
* Experience with regulatory compliance systems or databases (e.g., IMDS, BOM check, SAP, knowledge of international product and material compliance regulations.
* Interest in Sustainability and Product Lifecycle Management.
* Experience working in a manufacturing or regulated industry.
* Very good English communication skills.
