Assist the project team in the daily control, management and coordination of construction activities to ensure the project is delivered on time, on budget and to the required safety, environmental and quality standards.

You'll be responsible for:
*
Producing and monitoring short-term programmes.
*
Reading programme and design drawings and administers daily progress records to ensure that site works progress.
*
Contributing to package, coordination, safety and site progress meetings.
*
Ensuring safe project working practices are adhered to for all site personnel taking appropriate action where necessary.
*
Assisting construction managers with various elements of the build.
*
Establishing key relationships with the trade contractors, setting up clear lines of communication to coordinate labor and help address issues that may arise.
*
Working collaboratively towards the common goal of net zero carbon transition, and share responsibility for the proactive identification and management of the associated carbon emissions and reductions during the delivery of work.

You'll need to have:
*
Good understanding of construction phases (pre-con, construction, commissioning, etc.).
*
Good digital knowledge and practical skills.
*
Effective time management.
*
Able to establish rapport with all levels of contractors and suppliers.
*
Ability to assist in addressing issues as they arise.
*
Strong numerical skills and attention to detail.

You'll also have:
*
Work experience/internship/placement experience on a construction site.
*
Effective communication skills - verbal, written, and via presentation where required.
*
Understands tasks given and delivers to deadlines.
*
Knows when to seek assistance/direction.
*
Able to solve issues, or seek assistance to resolve.
*
Seeks authority and manages their area/s.
