Duties and Responsibilities

* undertake quality review and the onboarding of customers' KYC records

* assure that all internal and external requirements with regard to KYC/AML are met

* act as subject matter expert on required legal documents and information and process to onboard

* customers and review existing customers in the KYC Tool

* case based consultation and close cooperation with the customer facing teams in Front Office to collect required legal documents and associated information

* close and regular exchange with Compliance Department on KYC issues

* support of regular KYC reporting and monitoring

* support of development of KYC trainings for Front Office Units

* conduct KYC Trainings for Front Office Units

* support data analyses

* perform other duties and/or special projects when required

* contribute to the completion of the teams workload

Profile and Requirements

* Apprenticeship of qualified bank clerk

* Business Administration or equivalent education would be desirable

* First experience within a bank, financial services, operational or compliance field

* Knowledge of client onboarding process and of key relevant legal, regulatory and statutory

* requirements is a plus

* Knowledge of AML/CTF and sanctions as well as Trade Finance product knowledge is a plus

* Analytical, conceptual and holistic thinking

* Strong written and oral communication skills in English and German is required, ability to

* communicate in Japanese is a plus

* Strong problem solving and analytical skills

* Ability to get up to speed quickly with new or unfamiliar subject matters content

* Team player: independent and self-motivated, with an ability to adapt and to be flexible in a team

* environment

* Ability to communicate clearly and confidently; able to influence internal and external stakeholders

* Risk and controls awareness
