Job Title: Trainee, Merchandising
JOB PURPOSE:
The Dior Corporate Trainee participates in a program designed to identify and develop future talent for the organization. By working closely with their assigned Department, the Trainee supports the organization's short and long-term objectives through day to day administrative and long-term project work. Trainees across departments will collaborate to develop initiatives to improve business results, and present a project to the Executive Leadership Team. The Merchandising Trainee is responsible for supporting the department in managing the business strategy for the Canada Boutiques. Main responsibilities include reporting and recaps, product tool creation, competitive market analysis, supporting the buying process, and distribution in accordance with total company vision.

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES: Excellent organizational skills, drive for results and ability to independently problem solve Ability to deliver tight deadlines while being detail oriented Thrive in fast-paced environment with self-motivated mentality Effectively and professionally communicate with Boutique teams Think creatively when analyzing the business Operate all systems and retail programs necessary to perform the job Flexibility to react quickly to changing demands of business; able to set priorities to maximize time effectively and efficiently Technical ability to manage merchandising software Team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills REQUIREMENTS: Full-time, 12 Month Program Must be available M-F, 9-6pm, Friday work from home At least 6 months of prior Merchandising/Buying work or internship experience, luxury retail Women's experience preferred; strong working knowledge of Retail Math and Retail critical metrics Strong knowledge of Excel & PowerPoint, proficiency in all Microsoft Office programs The appointed candidate will be offered a salary of $20 per hour
