Job Purpose
GSK is looking to hire a Pipeline Planning Intern - Oncology to join our Oncology Team. This role is hybrid (2-3 business days per week onsite) and is based at our Mississauga office.

As a Pipeline Planning Intern in Oncology, you will support the GSK Canada cross-functional oncology team across all aspects of new product and indication planning for GSK's existing and diverse pipeline, including forecasting, opportunity assessment, and cross-functional planning and management. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in launch planning typically reserved for individuals more established in their careers.

*** This is a paid summer student placement running from May 2026 to August 2026, intended for students returning to school following the contract. Internal referrals are welcome. ***

Details (Your Responsibilities)
This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career, these responsibilities include some of the following:
* Supporting the oncology pipeline cross-functional team, including commercial, medical, regulatory, and market access partners, with tumor team meeting logistics, information management, and strategic direction.
* Using a variety of internal and external information sources to support the development of robust commercial plans, including forecasts and P&Ls, for prioritized or near-term oncology indications and assets.
* Conducting competitive research to monitor key Canadian oncology updates relevant to near-term pipeline indications and assets.
* Supporting the development of comprehensive, cross-functional opportunity assessments for prioritized near-term oncology indications and assets using all available scientific, clinical, and commercial information.

We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:
* Progressing toward (3rd year or beyond) or completed a Bachelor's degree or advanced degree in Sciences or Business Administration
* Strong understanding of business planning principles, ideally including forecasting, combined with the ability to interpret scientific and medical information
* Strong planning and organizational skills, with the ability to work efficiently and effectively in a dynamic environment
* Strong independent research skills, using scientific publications, reputable internet sources, and/or AI-supported research tools
* Ability to influence without authority and work effectively across multiple stakeholders
* Effective time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities of increasing scope and complexity
* High level of professionalism, reliability, independence, and punctuality
* Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
* Self-motivated, accountable, passionate, and committed to the business
* Ability to identify problems early and seek innovative solutions
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word

Preferred Qualifications:
If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:
* Progressing toward or completed an advanced science degree or MBA
* Specific training in forecasting, management consulting, or marketing
* Previous experience in the pharmaceutical industry
* Bilingualism (English/French)

#LI-HYBRIDIn compliance with Ontario's provincial pay transparency legislation in Canada, this job posting includes a salary range to support equitable and informed hiring practices. The annual pay rate for new hires in this position ranges from CAD$31,980 to CAD$79,950 taking into account a number of factors including work location within the Canadian market, education level (e.g., Undergrad / Masters / MBA etc.) and based on the experience required for the role.
