Position Summary
Samsung Electronics America, Inc. is now accepting applications for its Summer 2026 Intern Program. This exciting opportunity offers a paid, 10-week experience for selected UNDERGRAD OR GRAD (based on HM request) students. The program will run from June 1 to August 7.

Eligible students will be seniors or recent graduates, possess U.S. work authorization, and be able to work full-time on a 5-day-per-week on-site schedule. Additionally, participation in this program requires that you be located in the United States for the duration of the engagement.

Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis, so early submission is encouraged. The application window is open until March 15, 2026; however, it may close earlier if all available roles are filled. Applications submitted after the application window or once a role is closed/projects are full will not be considered.

Role and Responsibilities

Position Summary
This internship focuses on optimizing profitability through the development and implementation of effective promotional strategies for Samsung's TV, Monitor, and Soundbar products. The intern will work closely with cross-functional teams to analyze historical promotional campaigns, design innovative strategies, and monitor their impact on revenue and profitability. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in business management, market research, and financial modeling while contributing to the success of Samsung's product categories.

Key Responsibilities

Promotion Analysis:
* Evaluate historical promotional campaigns to identify what has worked best in terms of revenue growth and profitability.
* Assess the impact of promotions on attach rates and customer engagement.
Strategy Development:
* Design and refine promotional strategies tailored to TV, Monitor, and Soundbar products.
* Propose innovative promotional models, such as bundling or subscription-based offers, to increase attach rates.
Financial Modeling:
* Build financial models to assess the potential impact of proposed promotional strategies on revenue and profitability.
* Evaluate the scalability of these strategies across different markets.
Implementation & Monitoring:
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute the developed promotional strategies.
* Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track success and make data-driven adjustments as needed.

General Responsibilities

Market Research and Analysis:
* Conduct in-depth market research to identify emerging trends, customer preferences, and competitive dynamics.
* Analyze existing revenue streams and promotional strategies to pinpoint opportunities for enhancement.
Reporting and Recommendations:
* Prepare detailed reports on the progress and outcomes of the implemented strategies.
* Offer actionable recommendations for continuous improvement and long-term sustainability.
Qualifications

Education:
* Currently pursuing a Master's Degree.
* Preferred academic fields of study: Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics
* Final-year graduate students are strongly preferred.
Technical Skills:
* Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau).
* Experience in market research and strategic planning.
* Knowledge of financial modeling and business metrics.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively convey ideas and findings.
Skills:
* Experience in e-commerce, digital business development, or site management is a plus.
* Technical understanding of e-commerce platforms and integrations.
* Ability to define and report functional requirements for digital features.
* Adaptable and collaborative in a dynamic digital environment.

This internship is based in Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey, and offers a unique opportunity to contribute to Samsung's product categories while gaining valuable experience in category business management, market research, and strategic planning. The intern will have the chance to work on impactful projects, collaborate with experienced professionals, and develop skills that are highly relevant in the field of business management.

Skills and Qualifications

The hourly rate for this role is $49. Actual pay will be determined considering factors such as relevant skills and experience, and comparison to other employees in the role.
