Responsibilities

You will be a key player in developing innovative solutions that will allow to pave the way towards 5G-Advanced and 6G networks, by helping shape novel concepts in Multiple-Inputs-Multiple-Outputs (MIMO) technologies and assess their performance by means of system level simulation.

You will learn and contribute to

* The development of novel and efficient system level simulation techniques;
* Verification of existing simulation tools;
* The simulation in a simplified environment of possible feedback methodologies to address the problem of the performance degradation in Coherent Joint Transmission (CJT) schemes when non-idealities are considered;
* The simulation of Uplink Multiple-Inputs-Multiple-Outputs (UL MIMO) considering various channel conditions;
* The implementation of the proposed solution in a system level simulator for 5G-Advanced/6G cellular system to evaluate the performance in realistic settings;
* Comparative analysis of state-of-the-art solutions against the proposed scheme.

Required Skills

You have:

* Computer Science or Electrical Engineering background
* Knowledge of wireless networks and system level simulation
* Coding skills in C++, Matlab, Python
* Stellar communication skills

It would be nice to have:

* Prior experience in calibration and testing
* Knowledge of existing Channel State Information schemes
* Previous exposure to 3GPP Standards.
