Financial Controlling Intern

Your Tasks

The role supports the Financial Controlling Manager in Italy in the following activities:
* Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
* Support budgeting and forecasting processes
* Perform variance analysis (actual vs. budget/forecast)
* Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics
* Help maintain and improve internal financial controls
* Assist with cost analysis, profitability studies, and financial modeling
* Prepare ad-hoc analyses for management

Your Profile

Education & Background
* University student or recent graduate in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
* Good command of English
* Additional languages are a plus

Technical Skills
* Strong understanding of basic accounting and finance principles
* Proficiency with Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, basic formulas)
* Ability to work with large datasets and financial models
* Experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Qlik) is an advantage
* Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
* Curiosity and willingness to learn complex financial processes
