Internship Overview
The Intern will support the Facilities Management team in the operation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of commercial buildings and warehouse facilities. This role provides hands-on experience in facilities engineering, preventive maintenance, project coordination, asset management, and building operations.
Key Responsibilities
* Support day-to-day facilities, engineering and maintenance activities.
* Assist in planning, coordinating, and monitoring Facilities Management projects.
* Participate in site inspections, facility condition assessments, and progress reporting.
* Support preventive maintenance planning and asset management activities.
* Learn and assist in the use of CAFM/IWMS systems to support Facilities Management operations.
* Assist with engineering drawings, technical documentation, and project coordination tasks.
* Support building operations and maintenance activities for commercial and warehouse facilities.
* Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) requirements and engineering best practices.
* Contribute to sustainability and continuous improvement initiatives.
* Shadow Facilities Engineers to gain practical knowledge and hands-on experience in Facilities Management.
* Perform other duties as assigned by the Facilities Management team.
Candidate Requirements
* Fresh graduate with a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
* Strong interest in Facilities Management, building operations, maintenance, and engineering projects.
* Basic understanding of electrical systems, building services, and maintenance principles.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
* Eagerness to learn and develop within a professional Facilities Management environment
