SOC Manpower Planning Intern (SPX Express)

Descripción del puesto:

* Operational & Data Support: Collaborate with the Operations (Ops) and Workforce Planning teams to support manpower planning and cross-functional coordination. Use Excel, Google Sheets, or SQL to recheck and compare parcel volume data to support volume forecasting.
* Manpower Planning Assistance: Assist in planning manpower requirements for and schedules. Help revise MPW planning and confirm updated plans as assigned.
* Reporting & Analysis: Consolidate data to produce clear, actionable reports that help Ops teams make informed decisions. Support simple modeling or forecasting tasks to improve planning accuracy.
* Cross-Functional Coordination: Work closely with Ops and Workforce Planning teams to ensure effective communication and smooth implementation of manpower plans. Identify opportunities for process improvements using data-driven insights

Requerimientos del candidato/a:

* Currently pursuing a Bachelor's in Engineering (e.g., Computer Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Software Engineering, Data Science, etc.) or a related technical field.
* Strong proficiency in Google Sheets, including advanced formulas and data manipulation
* Excellent communication and coordination skills
* Strong analytical thinking and decision-making abilities
* Effective problem-solving skills, particularly in handling urgent or unexpected operational issues
