TotalEnergies Exploration & Production Denmark (TEPDK), a subsidiary of TotalEnergies, operates major offshore assets producing oil and gas in the Danish North Sea. Our offices are located in Esbjerg.
Our Digital Team manages more than 50 innovative solutions: in-house developed tools, external solutions, and projects from headquarters. We have built strong expertise in advanced data science, proof of concept, and functional prototypes for ambitious digital solutions. Our users? All operational entities: offshore and onshore, finance, drilling, field operations, industrial methods.

Your mission
As a Data Scientist, you will develop prescriptive solutions (not just descriptive), from data exploration to application deployment.
Your first challenges:
* Reduce production losses caused by equipment and valve failures through real-time data analysis and unstructured reports
* Contribute to innovative use cases integrating GenAI and NLP to enrich datasets and unlock new opportunities
And after?
* Maintain solutions already in production
* Explore various topics and develop proofs of concept on high-potential themes
* Contribute to the sustainability and transfer of certain products

What you'll do daily
* Advanced feature engineering and modeling to optimize industrial performance and costs
* Exploratory analyses and use case development with business experts
* Analytical studies based on models or enriched datasets
* Development of prototypes and POC applications

Tech stack
* Python (Dash/Plotly) or Python + React JS
* Azure environment and/or server-based solutions

Candidate Profile

Education:
* Master degree with specialisation in Data Science, engineering background preferred

Technical skills:
* Strong knowledge Python and Git
* Experience with GenAI
* Knowledge of LLM is a plus
* Solid capacities to code and learn

Languages:
* English: B2/C1 level
* French: B2/C1 level
* Danish appreciated
