Job Description
The VIE-Fund Controller's mission is to assist the Senior Fund Controller/ Portfolio Manager in the administrative and financial management of the Debt Fund managed by AEW.
With a European dimension, it consists in particular of intervening in the following activities:
* Operational business plan
* Establish semi-annually, and periodically update, the business plans of the fund's sub-funds based on events planned by the Department.
* Asset Management Cash Management
* Calculate and initiate fund calls to investors and bank drawings and track their execution;
* Calculate and ensure the flow of cash to investors;
* Control the receipt of interest income from receivables held by the fund;
* Effectively manage cash flow at the level of all structures;
* Manage hedging instrument loopbacks and unclogs and related margin calls.
* Production of accounts
* Supervise the service providers responsible for producing vehicle accounts and review the company and consolidated financial statements;
* Organize the appointment of auditors and ensure the relationship with them (review of accounts, ad hoc requests...).
* Valuation of assets
* Check the valuations of assets held by the fund and participate in quarterly monitoring meetings. Ensure their correct accounting in the fund accounts in line with applicable accounting standards.
* Reporting, investor relations
* Integrate information related to the financial management of funds into quarterly reporting to investors, meeting all contractual obligations of AEW;
* Supervise the production of regulatory reports by our service providers and control the content;
* Answer investors' questions; carry out specific analyses on the fund as needed.
* Social, legal and fiscal life
* Ensure compliance with legal and tax standards in each country where the Funds are present and take into account legislative and regulatory developments;
* Prepare the files of the Management and General Assembly Committees in relation to the Legal Department and/or the boards.
* Portfolio Management support role
* Follow the waivers communicated by the agents and help with the recommendations of the Portfolio to the Stewardship Committee if necessary;
* Participate in the preparation of the Portfolio recommendation to the Management Committee on investment opportunities.
* Mounting of Funds
* Contribute to marketing to potential investors, Q&A on business plan and financial performance;

Required Skills/Qualifications/Experience
You have a Bac+4/5 level education (university, business school or engineering school) with a specialization in accounting/finance.
You have a first professional experience in the financial sector, ideally real estate.
You master the French language and the English language at a professional level.
You show rigor, dynamism, autonomy and adaptation.
You have interpersonal skills, the ability to analyze and anticipate, as well as an interest in real estate.
