Overview

We are seeking a motivated Civil / Water Resource or Environmental Engineering Apprentice to join our team.

Your role

* Work as part of the AtkinsRéalis Water Management Consultancy (WMC) team.
* Work on a range of projects relating to flood/river modelling/surface water management/water quality modelling.
* Work to high standards, ensuring the right first-time delivery.
* Ownership of the work of self.
* Contribute to technical discussions/meetings positively through knowledge sharing.

About You

* Bachelor or Master's Degree in Civil Engineering, / Water Resource or Environmental Engineering from a recognised University.
* Demonstrable knowledge of hydraulic modelling as part of academic projects.
* Experience in using design or hydraulic modelling software for academic projects is preferred.
* Knowledge of Geographical Information Systems (GIS) e.g. MapInfo, ArcGIS or QGIS is preferred.
* Good report writing skills and fluency in English.
* Value addition through innovations and automation in project delivery.
* Candidates should have a clear and demonstrable technical understanding of flood risk assessment, water quality, and related issues, including, hydraulics and hydrology.
