Job Purpose and Impact

The Supply Chain & Production Planner is responsible for planning and coordinating inbound/outbound material flows and production scheduling for the Hamburg multi-oils refinery. The role ensures optimal supply chain performance, cost control, and high customer service standards by managing short-term planning horizons (1-4 weeks for supply, 1-7 days for production) and resolving operational bottlenecks.

Key Accountabilities

* Create and execute short-term supply and production plans, including sequencing for 14 production lines, inventory management, and cycle stock planning, including monitoring bottle necks and navigate solutions development
* Act as the central point of contact for internal and external stakeholders during disruptions; manage communication and solution development.
* Track KPIs (cost, complaints), identify gaps, and lead improvement projects to strengthen customer approach and margins.
* Drive cost control by optimizing the network across multiple oil refineries, ensuring efficiency and alignment with business objectives.

Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
* Work experience in supply chain or production planning within a plant/ production environment.
* Fluent English and German (daily work in both languages)
* Practical knowledge of the SAP system
* Strong planning and problem-solving abilities.
* Ability to manage change and ambiguity.
* Effective stakeholder communication and collaboration in virtual teams.
* High adaptability and accountability in dynamic environments.
* Business acumen and priority setting.
