Description du poste:

Company description As part of Publicis Groupe, Starcom blends creativity, data, and deep expertise to craft media experiences that move people - and in turn, move business. Leveraging unique data assets, unparalleled media relationships, and the buying scale of the Groupe, we turn insight into impact. Today's media landscape is faster, noisier, and more fragmented than ever. People are constantly scrolling, streaming, and switching - and despite more ways to connect, many brands feel further away from their audiences. Short-term thinking dominates. Quick wins overshadow long-term momentum. At Starcom, we see it differently. Change isn't a threat - it's an opening. Our mission has always been the same: know people deeply, then connect with them meaningfully. We unlock opportunities across paid, owned, shared, and earned media to keep brands relevant and resonant. We help clients navigate what's next - not by chasing every shiny object, but by knowing which ones matter. Our media thinking is fuelled by human insight, built for the context of each channel, and optimised for the outcomes that count. Because when you move people, you move business. For today. For tomorrow. For good. Overview Who are we looking for? As an Account Executive, you will be hands-on with multi-million-dollar campaigns, learning the intricacies and best practice of TV and OOH buying, while gaining exposure to BVOD and sponsorships. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to master the craft of media investment with a strong offline focus, across a patch that includes some of the most well-known FMCG brands in Australia You will support the team by managing day-to-day campaigns (heavily TV skewed), reporting, media buying, keeping on top of budgets, and collaborating with external clients, media and internal teams. You will be part of a core Investment team as you support and learn from senior team members - maintaining operational excellence and learning best in class investment craft when it comes to timely and quality delivery of campaigns and accuracy in your reporting. Importantly, you'll join a team culture that is collaborative, supportive, and structured, with opportunities to develop autonomy, run your own campaigns, and continue to build your career. What will your day-to-day look like? Own the end-to-end delivery of TV-heavy campaigns, including briefing, buying, monitoring, and optimising performance. Coordinate with offshore teams to ensure accurate campaign setup and timely execution. Prepare campaign performance reports and post-campaign analysis (PCA) at portfolio level. Deliver competitive reviews and actionable insights to inform client decisions. Maintain strong communication with the team, ensuring updates are clear, timely, and solution focused. Support senior team members in translating results into recommendations during monthly and quarterly reviews. Raise purchase orders, track budgets, and ensure smooth financial processes for campaigns. Work closely with internal teams and media partners/vendors to guarantee seamless campaign delivery. Build and nurture relationships with media owners to unlock innovative and value driven TV and OOH opportunities for clients. Stay ahead of emerging media trends and drive proactive client solutions. Prepare and present clear, compelling performance reports and insights. Contribute to planning discussions and test-and-learn initiatives to drive innovation and continuous improvement. What will set you up for success? 1 year of experience (including internships) in media planning and buying, ideally within an agency environment. Understanding of media principles and processes, with exposure to TV and/or OOH campaigns. Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, plus familiarity with tools like Spectra, Day8, Techedge, and AdIntel. Ability to analyse data and translate insights into actionable recommendations. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy across reporting, financials, and campaign setup. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with confidence in presenting ideas. Organised and proactive, able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. A collaborative team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment. Curious and solutions-focused, with a willingness to learn and think outside the box.
