The Project Enginner is responsible for execution of equipment projects for the Food and Beverage industry, working directly on the preparation of process flowcharts, creation of technical specifications for electromechanical components such as valves, pumps, instruments, tanks, etc.
The activities include monitoring the execution of the project in all its phases (pre-order support, engineering, manufacturing, testing), as well as technical support to other departments such as Applications, Project Management, Commissioning, Service, Procurement.
This position reports to the Project Engineering Team Manager and is part of the Engineering Team to F&B System located in Pall Diadema Office, 239, Luigi Papaiz Avenue - Campanario - Diadema / São Paulo - Brazil, ZIP Code: 09931-610.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
* Design filtration systems for beer, wine and water industries used in food and beverage.
* Thoroughly assess, understand and apply project specifications, client specifications and define the correct and necessary design.
* Will be able to detect, understand and manage technical risks of the project using appropriate tools for risk analysis and configure the necessary technical countermeasures.
* Will manage engineering changes that may arise during the project, including all related information and communication/agreements with requirements. Cost and time impacts.
* Will have detailed understanding of filtration separation and purification technologies used in processing (direct flow filtration, cross flow filtration, stabilization).
The essential requirements of the job include:
* Degree in Mechanical or Mechatronic Engineering
* Advanced English skills are required, with Spanish being desirable.
* Experience with Microsoft Office and Autodesk programs is required.
* Ability to work with a multidisciplinary team in various parts of the world.
* Knowledge of project planning using tools such as MS Project is desirable
Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements: if applicable for role
* Travel may be required to visit Suppliers and Customers, we assume that 25% of your time may be spent on this activity, with regional or international travel possible, and overnight travel may be required in some cases.
* Must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
* Knowledge and understanding of the current Industry Guidelines for Desing, Manufacturing, Test and Documenting Food and Beverage Process Equipment
