For our Grid Code Solutions department, we are looking for a Grid Codes Engineer to join our team in Lyngby, Denmark, or Sarriguren, Spain. As Grid Codes Engineer, you will support and develop analytic tools for Grid Codes evaluations and assessments.

How to contribute to our vision:
As Grid Codes Engineer, you will develop and support analytics tools for Grid Code evaluations and assessments.

Furthermore, you will learn about WT capabilities and utilize this knowledge to define the different WTs in the mentioned tool. With this knowledge one responsibility will be to make sure that grid code data, WT capabilities, and WPP data are added to the tool to create the source of truth within the Grid Connection Dpt.

In short, you will be responsible for:
* Collecting tool requirements from main stakeholders in SGRE.
* Agreeing on how to move forward with Grid experts in the Grid Connection Dpt.
* Preparing specifications and engage development team to define next releases.
* Testing and verifying new SW updates.

On top of that, you will be also responsible for performing simulations in RMS or EMT tools. Moreover, you will have the opportunity to develop methodologies based on operational data and evaluating the performance of wind turbines and wind power plants according to grid codes.

What you need to make a difference
Besides a passion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change, we are also looking for:

A motivating team player, who is curious, responsible, and structured with excellent communication skills. You interact with stakeholders high and low in the organization as well as external stakeholders. You are motivated by providing quality results within the deadlines and are happy to work in a dynamic organization and an international environment.

You have a master's degree in electrical engineering or similar, with a focus on power engineering / grid connections. A few years of working experience is beneficial, but bright, motivated, and fresh minds with new perspectives are also very welcome to apply.

It is important that you have excellent English language skills, both written and spoken. It would also be an advantage if you speak German and/or have experience with PSCAD, DigSilent, and/or Matlab.
